WORKSHOPS
The Your Creative Palette studio offers a range of mixed media special events that will provide a rich learning environment and opportunities for painters to develop their skills and expertise.
Beginner and intermediate workshops are inclusive of materials and tuition in the cost of workshop however, ‘Advanced’ workshops are structured differently and incur an extra cost for specialised mixed media kits.
Beginner and Intermediate workshops—pricing (includes tuition and materials)
- 1/2 day @ $70 p/person (approx 3 - 4 hours)
- Full day @ $130 p/person (approx 6 - 7 hours)
- 2-day @ $250 p/person (approx 6 - 7 hours per day—can vary dependent on activity)
^ADVANCED MIXED MEDIA
As your artistic journey and experience grows the advanced level of mixed media workshops will challenge your creativity.
These specialised events do require a reasonable level of experience in mixed media techniques and tools and are subject to ‘prerequisite’ skill levels to achieve success in these workshops (and may also be subject to ˄extra charge for materials kit).

- Full day @ $100 p/person (tuition only) ˄
- 2-day @ $200 p/person (tuition only) ˄ ˄plus cost of materials kit

NOTE: ˄Advanced mixed media workshops require specialised material kits these are supplied by the studio at an extra cost and priced according to the workshop undertaken.
PLEASE ALSO NOTE: All workshops are subject to minimum and maximum numbers to proceed and surcharges will apply for cancellations without sufficient notice given.
PRIVATE TUITION and casual hire SCHEME
Do you have a desire to paint but don’t have a space or easel to work on a larger canvas, then booking the studio through the *casual hire scheme may be the answer.
This is an opportunity for painters to utilise the studio uninterrupted and at their own pace (easels, tables available for use). No tuition given for casual hire.
There is an expectation that painters bring their own equipment and materials (paints, mediums and other painting tools). Basic equipment; paints, brushes, palettes and aprons available at extra cost $10.00 per session (for **reasonable usage - see end of page).
PRIVATE 1 TO 1 TUITION — is available by appointment only and is subject to the conditions listed below:

Cost for private tuition $30 per hour (min. 2 hours per session). Extras dependent on the focus for tuition (mediums, techniques etc).
Canvases are not provided in these costs (canvas to be supplied by painters).

Tuesday / Wednesday between 10:00am - 3:00pm $15 per hour (minimum 2 hours)
After hours by negotiation.
Extra charges
$10 weekly fee for mixed media materials supplied by the Your Creative Palette studio.
Conditions for using the facilities at the Your Creative Palette (YCP) studio.
Painters are responsible for cleaning and packing away all equipment used during each session
All rubbish to be placed into the bins provided
Painters to conduct themselves in respectful manner towards others working at the studio (please use mobile phones outside of the studio … phones on silent)
Small snacks, beverages and coffee are permitted in the studio. Spaces are available outside the studio for consuming meals.
SHORT BLOCK SMALL GROUPS
On offer will be daytime or evening short block programs.
Costs for these block sessions are per hour, per person and ‘extras’ are additional to the cost of workshops, where applicable.
Short block workshops/extras are prepaid and payable prior to the first day of the 4 week block.
Painters can utilise studio equipment; easels, tables during the painting sessions.
Basic equipment; paints, brushes, palettes and aprons available at extra cost $10.00 per session (for **reasonable usage).
NOTE: costs do not include canvases.
Painters will be offered a spot in a class and this will remain their spot until a ‘cease to continue’ email is received by the studio. 2 weeks notice to surrender a spot is required before the next block commences if a pro-rata refund is required.
No refunds or credit issued if sufficient notice, via email, is not given.
Once a block commences refunds or credits can not issued.
A single day’s absence can be negotiated and made up by negotiation and availability of space.
More than 2 consecutive absences (without notice) may result in losing a spot if there is a waiting list of people wishing to join.
SCHEDULE and PRICING
Tuesday and Wednesday (morning and evening sessions) limited to 6 participants—short block groups organised as 4 x 2 hour sessions = 8 hours
Morning—9:30am to 11:30am Evening—6:30pm to 8:30pm
Pricing — Invoice for short block issued: 8 hours @ $15 per hour will be issued via email for direct payment prior to the first day of the 4 week block.
**Reasonable usage—Painters opting to pay the basics equipment; paints, brushes, palettes and aprons can do so with minimum usage of paint. **Reasonable usage applies to canvases 50x50cm or smaller. Larger canvases will incur an extra charge of $5 per session.
